Staffs are friendly sometimes even like a family member 🙂 The coffee is always great with a good price. The meal is always great whether it is breaky or lunch and the special Friday BBQs oh my goooooodness give it a try whenever you can, trust me you will not regret it, it is the best night ever, the vibe the meal the beer and wine are great combination. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, after ordering coffee two times we are like mates now, and the staff are great welcoming always with a smile. “Frankie Says” is a dog friendly place so you can enjoy your coffee, breakfast, brunch, lunch with your fur friend and enjoy your meal with a great view and in a green environment. The food is served professionally with great designs and it is always yum no matter what you order. I recommend the “Frankie Says” to everyone who wants to have a great time dinning out.
Frankie Says is a little oasis. When you’re sitting by the Yarra under eucalyptus shade, listening to the kookaburras and watching rowers skim by, it’s hard to believe you’re in the hub of Melbourne. Frankie boasts excellent coffee and a great range of dishes (corn fritters and Shakshuka eggs are faves). But its unique highlight is its warm friendly staff, with impressive attention to detail, and a knack of making you feel at home (priceless touches often neglected in busy cafes). Frankie’s recent stroke of genius is opening for Friday night dinners. Rib Eye, crispy-skinned salmon and paella grace the well-rounded menu. And a nice touch is the sharing jugs of Pimms and Aperol spritz to help see in balmy Spring/Summer nights.

If you've not been before you've got to go.... and if you have been here before you know how great it is. The guy with the beard is maybe the best front of house in a cafe I've ever met. Instantly feel at home, sorts you out, makes you feel welcome. I envy the people who live in the apartments above that this is on their doorstep.... amazing coffee and great food. Well done guys.

Great cafe. Daniel and staff are always so friendly, and the food is consistently delicious. Good selection of sweet treats and of course the coffee is a constant. A local gem for good reason!

Great experience! Fantastic spot, reasonably priced, yummy food & very friendly staff. So accommodating and in particular a lovely staff member became besties with my 6 year old son.
